The latter. Rewatched "The Game" with Michael Douglas and Sean Penn eariler. Then went to bed for a bit. Thought I'd double check schedule for Aly & Fila time. One thing leads to another....:music:

:good2: oh lucky you are ! Had a sudden-died PCB of an external HDD some years ago. Void warranty to rescue my data, by unmounting ( tough job ! :) ) the HDD from the external case. All data was still there. Used the HDD as an internal one since - never had a problem. Just :wow: :blink: had not expected a failure with the USB/Firewire interface of a new Drive ! :lolz:

I tryed that , but this one is meant to be opened so it didn't void the warrenty , but this one was different cause it ment to be accessed over an Network, so the filesystem different.
