Yes, I totally agree with you Vinyl has something special and no technical stuff can give that authentic flavour to a set.

I'm doing some track-combine/mixing-work too sometimes, but... unfortunately I don't have both (vinylturntables and things on vinyl)...

I've only my PC here, with a lot of music and... a program with which I can combine some tracks :grinning:
And bad things happen when you try to 'burn a vinyl' as you do with a CD.

For me the 'DJ'-ing is more a hobby besides my study...
But if I wanted to make a career from it then I want to learn/know/buy everything ! Now I'm just a cheap hobbyist

i have been a dj since 1977/1978...my oldest tune on vinyl is intruder's I'll alway's love my mama made in 1973....good luck in learning maybe one day we can meet....:grinning:

Regarding the technical debate, as a vinyl DJ of over 7 years before I even touched a CDJ, vinyl will always win for me.

CDJ's are fantastic and convenient and a technical marvel with many benefits. However, microwave meals are fantastic and convenient and a technical marvel with many benefits, but it doesn't make them nicer than good old fashioned cooking
