nah, progressive is all about bass... a lot of bass, all over the tunes and sets... there's hardly any bass here, hence isn't prog.

ahh.. I understand better now... I cant really tell when its progressive or when its something else like house/minimal.

(edit: I know MArkus Schulz is mostly progressive :D)

although I can tell electro house or the david vendetta style EDM

yep... always amazing how much confusement about the term "progressive" is around...
 
wouldn't say it's all about bass :unsure:

well not solely, but it's one of the main and most striking features of prog house/trance
 
I think its more to do with the amount of melody....although ive heard "electro" tunes with a lot of melody, it was quite a long way from minimal which isnt so much bleep bloop as just bleep...all i know is several of the top 10 prog house on beatport is nice & a couple get played in regular sets on AH but hardly any tech house or minimal ever gets in

prog house and prog trance mostly converge anyway...
