I've always thought that it's not the software that matters really, just the end product. I never got to grips with Reason but Cubase felt like an extension of myself within a couple of weeks! So long as the tunes sound great though that's all that matters
I'm definitely starting to lean towards hardware over software for synth sounds though
Btw another uber from Matt

Definitely - I like doing all the fiddly bits with the midi on the computer but I always think they sound better running through hardware - although saying that my studio mate's a complete audiophile so I probably get that from himthats a really good call! as long as the song in the end sounds great... yeah i always watned to get hardware instead of the software, always felt more intutive than using the computer

But consider the likes of GTR - Mistral and Digital Blonde - Legato were both made using crappy software just shows it's not that important so long as you do it right!
Well its been a blast everyone! Thanks for all the lovely tunes while i worked away today!!!
See you all later!
