I'm gonna go take a cat nap in about 10 minutes. I got up just to hear my TAP DJs (Space Garden and Bryan Summerville) after only 1 hour of rest after MEITM 5. I'm dog tired.

Yes, I went to bed about 2.00am and had hoped to be up for Space Garden and Summervile but over slept Not many here yet. Thought there would be many more

Yes, I am. My problem is that no one cares that I have 30+ years experience in analytical thinking and programming. I never finished school. (I have like 153 hours. LOL) Life got in the way. Plus, I was in a very specialized kind of programming for 11 years and the languages have passed me by. They want experience in those new languages. I don't have that. Now, to me, the language or software package makes no difference at all. They ALL do the same thing. Data in, mess with the data, data out. The only differences are syntax. BFD. Syntax can be learned quickly. But no degree, no experience, no calls, no interviews.

They didn't show up here either. Big disappointment for me. I really like them. Maybe they will show up later in the day. I hope so.

I think that people are tired. It's been non-stop AfterHours Trance Festival since Thursday. I know I'm exhausted. If I stay up much longer I'm gong to start to see and hear ninjas. (little dark ghosty images in peripheral vision, they squeak)

Maybe you should apply on non-programmer jobs as well. Like I couldn't find work with my education and having a crappy job now.

That's what I'm afraid of, Laan. Losing my career. I love programming. It's what I am. I don't want to be a manager at a rent-to-own store, or some such crap like that. I also can't afford to take that kind of a hit in income. I can afford to hold out a little bit longer before everything falls apart completely.
