I think its so sad really. People are missing somuch. My son is half my age and he barely knows or probably even cares that trance is there. He like the vast majory listens to pop or hip hop. That's what its all about for the majority. Places like this are like an alien world to most people.:friends:

i believe its like that for many areas worldwide :yes:

my area for example, plays bullshit pop, rap, and tejano all damn day long. :wacko:

thank the psygods for internet radio and mp3 players :bow:

otherwise i would prolly be a 2009 version of flavor flav somewhere rapping on stage wearing a big clock :ee:

I think its because trance is so heavily associated with techno, which is a whole different genre. People think "Oh, kick? Clap? Hi hats? 4/4s? techno, blah, reptitive, I could just loop a 15 second sample 20 times and get the same..blah blah"

If only people realized that most of their pop AND rock AND hiphop is made with the same tools as trance, heck, most pop artists have techno or some messed up form of breakbeat..

*sigh*..and most of my classmates look at me weird when I show trance to them. Heh, well at least this week I'll be doing a presentation on Trance Energy..hopefully alot of clarifications will ensue..
