Unfortunately one of the main reasons I have to use .NET is that I am making use of an audio component that my company purchased a while back. It is extremely powerful and you could easily make a program like virtual DJ with it. So maybe that's a future project after the player, the AH.FM DJ application. It would take a minimum of 6 months working mon-fri to get anything close to it.

Interesting... but why would a user want to use that instead of existing mixing tools? Would it be free as well?

That made me think that an awesome contest win for AH listeners would be a 1-hour timeslot where they could pick their own setlist, and maybe one of our resident DJs could volunteer to mix it up for them into a set to be played on the radio.

For sure it would be free, one of the main reasons for the app is cross promotion, I am doing it in the name of the company I work for. Just think, an app that could replace windows media player for playing all your music, tune into ah.fm with special features, as well as act as a free DJ application? Can't be too bad huh?

Time is the main thing! It's easy enough to do.

dammy im thinking of u right now with a pain in your back after record that set (pic @ members thread xDDD)

we should make him do a 4-hour special set :)

That would be great! Promote your company and AH, and get more people into the mixing business... cross cross cross promotion. Keep it up, for sure!
