Can you share a bit more about the background of this remake and who JS16 is?
(I know but a lot of people here probably don't realize how well they know his work

08. Lowland & Orkidea: Blackbird
'Blackbird' is an "Ode For Technology" from Lowland and myself with the name hinting to Lockheed SR-71 airplane. This has some rocky elements with inspiration to those coming from Stuart Price's epic productions. The hook is proper big room trance riff which has been working very well on my album release tour. Title track of my third artist album "20". This pretty much summarizes the kind of trance I like most: driving and punchy yet hypnotic and deep at the same time. And with a BIG in-your-face riff hitting you all of a sudden. This was made especially the last hours in the legendary Unity The Island parties in mind where Andy Moor, Probspot, Junkie XL and David West were rocking the floor.
