11. DJ Tiesto: Flight 643 (Orkidea Remix)

My first "big name" remix I did back in 2000 for Tiesto. I remember being very much surprised when I got the original (brfore it was released or promoed) because it sounded sooo different from anything that Tiesto had done before. Well that was paving the way for tech trance invasion and now his change in sound happened two years before lot of other DJs changed their sound to the slower and housier direction. Aaaanyways... the remix turned out quite OK with lot of people still requesting this on my gigs. Roland 303 still seems to do the trick!

So last night I was parting with Tang and Cube from WePlayTechno crew... listening to AHFM till 6 am... EPIC times, great music :D

12. Solarstone & Orkidea: Zeitgeist

This was originally a 110 BPM chill out track demo which came out as a 135bpm big room trancer. Done in Helsinki during Rich Solarstone's gig at Colors. I love doing collabs when DJs are visiting Helsinki. You have a deadline set and myself and the guests seem to work efficiently when having limited amount of time available. There is definitely something quite 99ish in this track. And title somes from both of us watching the Zeitgeist movie around the time of Rich's visit.
