Been working for me... just back in from favorite local Mexican restaurant. :ee:

There's a story there. Authentic family style place. Long, long ago, shortly after I moved to this god forsaken podunk town, I was trying all the local Mex places, trying to find some decent chow, when I happened along this place. Place was empty, but the staff was Mexican and not blonde, so that was a promising sign. Then they brought me warm chips and salsa that obviously did NOT come out of a plastic jug. Another promising sign. Far from corporate. Food turned out to be great. They didn't have liquor license in those days so I had Diet Pepsi. Remember that I walked out of there stuffed for $5, including tip. Put the word out to the rest of my friends and family types to check the place out.

I became steady customer and on pretty friendly terms with the owner. Years went by before he casually mentioned one day that I'd been his 2nd customer. First real customer, cuz #1 was family. Years later there's six of 'em. But I always favor the original. :super:

To me, the sets of Mexico in the Mix were very interesting. About the woman I've got in mind: will ask her in a few days :music:​
