No, I'm about 3 hours north of Detroit. I'm a software developer. I sit in front of a computer in a windowless office all day long (and have disturbingly pale skin as a result!). It's not that bad though, I really like what I do.

c#, vb.net, and vb6. taught myself programming on vb5/vb6 (the language that "real" programmers scoff at...lol), got into programming at work with vb6, then later vb.net, and the past couple of years now c#. ever since i learned c# i can't stand vb/vb.net now. i don't know much about plain c, but what little i know i think i would hate it too.
