YES! It's a terrible trap for girls. With the advent of Viagra and Levitra giving older men just more excuses to dump their long standing wives and families for the hot sexy co-eds, women and girls MUST be self sufficient. After all, the men no longer care about things like loyalty and family. It's all about sex. Period.

Beauty is fleeting. I was beautiful when I young, too. All women are. I was sexy when I was young. I STILL am and I have TONS of experience. Plus, I know how to do EVERYTHING around the home/yard/vehicles. But those things are internal. Most men see the external. And that is all.

Thank God for my Polar. He is wiser than that. I love him so much. :cat:

hey its always been like that and it always will be like that.... when we were living in caves it was body hair with was good in with men hunting skills  there will be always something ppl lifts up on stand... atm monent is girls beauty. Its not that far behind when a bit roundy girl was the top notch type :grinning: of course this doesnt mean we ALL are like that but society in general is.

Sounds much better now :mml:

Appearance is something that bother us so much not only cause its in our nature, but coz we are raised with these perspectives...
Where to look? Tv ? Magazines? Show Business? It's all about the appearance....

The sad thing is not that girls are taking after their selves, thats something healthy... the problem is the reasons they do it and some of them they are too occupied with their looks and they forget to feed their brains too :grinning:
I agree... it's one thing to maintain your appearance out of a sense of pride and self-worth that goes with an overall healthy mental outlook. It's another thing entirely to try to achieve the impossible air-brushed ideal that is being perpetrated by media.

I'd much rather be with a woman who is happy with who she is and wears a size 20 than a woman who is costantly fretting that if she eats that one cookie that men will never find her attractive again. It's a spiritually unhealthy way to exist.
