Hello everyone,Now that Afterhours.FM is celebrating its 20th anniversary, I thought it might be a nice idea to share a few pictures from the past.
Over the years, I've taken quite a few screenshots, and I'd like to share some of them with you. But that's not all. I imagine some of you may have taken screenshots yourselves, so I'd like to invite you to upload some of your own here as well.
Later on, perhaps we could organise everything and create a separate thread for each year.
One issue, of course, is authenticity. This is **NOT** about screenshots taken recently of old pages. We don't need to archive what things look like **NOW**. What I'm looking for are genuinely old screenshots, taken years ago, preferably as close as possible to the date the original page was created.
That's where things get a little tricky, and it's something we'll need to think about further.
The further back in time we go, the more difficult it becomes for me. It took a while for my own collection to get going. My first contribution was created, according to its file date, on Wednesday, 28 April 2010. Sixteen years ago. But it shows a page dated 1 June 2007.
My collection of actual page screenshots only really starts in 2009. I do have some older flyers for shows, but not screenshots of entire pages, or even parts of them.
Still, you've got to start somewhere, haven't you?
What do you think of the idea?
**One important requirement for anyone contributing screenshots:** please provide two separate dates for each screenshot:
1. **The date the screenshot was actually taken.**
2. **The original date of the page shown in the screenshot.**
These two dates are not necessarily the same, and both are essential for establishing the historical context and authenticity of the material.
