Hi,

I just wondered what it is called as I may want to do a signature image for promotional purposes.

The afterhours font is called BN 3RD PLACE , its the same Tiesto is using in his Name

You can download that font here: BN 3rd - Search - dafont.com

download and unpack...then copy and paste in your Fonts...

Copy and paste that into MySpace profile editor. Should have the effect you want. :)
 
bad practise to have it all segregated like that but yea thats correct.

But... these are now STATIC, I'm not removing them... don't have to worry about 'free' hosts purging them after 'X' time has passed... sorry you don't like it.

It's not that I don't like it, last time I knew it was against Dan's and AH's rules to post links to sites containing ripped sets, something that your blog is clearly doing. Hell I got into trouble enough with my site earlier this year, so much so I got blacklisted by record companies and producers. I'm surprised that either a] Dan hasn't noticed, which would be hard considering I have notified him or b] He's allowing it to stay...which again is a bit sketchy considering the hard time he gave us beforehand.

I'm guessing the AH logo was made by hand/image creation or editing program right? There's no "font" for that..right? Because if there is, that would be great for wallpaper text...
 
Given the correct gradients and settings in my eyes it would be possible to replicate the logo using only the font and text effects. I managed to get a hold of the PSD for the logo at one point and that's all it was. No custom effects or complicated vectoring.

the logo was made by hand, however the font afterhours.fm under it a font. :)

I got that impression also..but Dan confirmed otherwise...I still will try to replicate it.

I can prove you wrong :)

It is all about the font, with very little bit of drawing/vectoring job.
I can show the steps in figures. :cap:
