The year of idiotic fascination of farting and growling sounds with ridiculous baselines, utter crappy melodies where everyone was "reinventing the wheel and """""evolving""""" (meaning "I have no fking clue what to produce anymore") and so on and so forth. All in all a really dreadful year with only few pearls like Armas - Angels & Demons (Carl B Remix) or Z.I.T.A. (Mike Shiver's Garden State Remix).

That kind of year.

Interesting. I think 07/08 it changed a lot too.

I remember 2003 very clearly and I assure You it would even make into top 10 Everyone was hammering Beautiful Things, As The Rush Comes and few others. :*

yep techno or house..but trance came up pretty early. Somewhere late 80's i think

think of tracks like klf - what time is love (pure trance '88 version) is one of the first i remember where trance was in the track title
