The rating of a thread that you're referring to is built into every thread of this forum and is not a way of voting made specifically for this event.
As with previous events I would expect the actual voting to happen with a poll but not until after the end of the day or event (so people don't start voting before the actual sets have played).

But what's the deal with voting for the DJs anyway? Apart from possibly being most voted on there's nothing to gain, right? Also, when I go to a party they don't ask me to vote for the DJ's at the end of the event.

Just enjoy the music (or perhaps not in some cases) but don't get so hung up on the whole voting thing :smile:
