I live nw of Birmingham [stafford way] and its nice there.
ive only been to Stratford of East London and although it has a bad record, I went during the Paralympics [ and I felt safe].

yup paralympics were
Stratford is quite good imo.

Stanmore is a bit far (jubilee line) for me. ~70 mins by public transport
havent been there yet. (but gonna plan it )
