I wish that more DJ's and promoters would come to the Midwest area but then again I like being one of the few in my area that loves trance. I feel that it makes me unique and it is something that I can call my own ya know?

The problem with the states in general is if you're not a famous DJ or not in the current trend (like house is now for instance in the US) a DJ won't be booked.. even down here in NY we don't get great trance DJ's very often besides the big ones who play trouse.. I mean Airwave was here only once in 2012 and he played in a small club

speaking of clubs, i miss the one i frequented a few years back where great named DJs played there often on friday nights, it was called Richs Houston: I remember seeing Christopher Lawrence, Judge Jules, Ferry Corsten, and Infected Mushroom back then, those guys rocked my world many times over

Nowadays sadly, that club is long gone =((

Lucky! I would have loved to see Ferry and Infected. For whatever reason, especially in Chicago, a lot of these clubs are closing down. I remember walking by one called "Level" (blasting trance) and wanting to go inside only to find out the cover charge was $45! On a Thursday night! If I am spending that much, with a 2 drink minimum, I want to be able to enjoy the music live. Anyway, I went back this summer and it was closed down.
