First up on Borderline's main label comes the hotly anticipated new collaboration track, The Fall, between label boss Activa and none other than Dave Parkinson, under his Revolution 9 alias! Dave Parkinson is somewhat of a legend in production circles having been in the dance music scene since 1994 and, more recently, working with the likes of Simon Patterson and Greg Downey as well as being the keyboard player in The Happy Mondays!. The trance scene will be more familiar with Dave from his track The Weapon, released on the mighty Vandit Records in 2002. Activa needs little introduction as an artist, having had productions on every major trance label from Anjunabeats to Vandit and releasing his debut artist album This World at the end of 2009 on UK independent, Discover Records. The Fall fuses the energy and production finesse of both these heavyweight producers, creating a track that is intricate as it is hard hitting. A sure fire winner with the more banging / tech orientated DJ's. The remix is provided by none other than John Askew who takes the original and melts his own unique style right into it to create a great alternative.
