I use a virtual machine on my mac. For some reason I can't go into facebook from my browser (doesn't matter which) and I got tired of trying to fix it so I installed Linux on a VM just to go to facebook.

Yeah today is interesting to me with both EOYC and YleX Tapanin Dance (Finnish BBC 1 equivalent doing 7h dance special) happening on same day. Not complaining though

Hmm you tried with Linux not in vm?

Linux or any other OS needs to be inside a virtual machine to run , you can't run it like it was an application on a computer it needs its own environment to run as it needs to be able to boot up.
