I wish... Here it's all about silence on New Year's Eve.. People will visit the shrine at midnight and say prayers. But for a firework-addict like me...summer time is heaven. From early June till late September you can enjoy spectacular firework shows throughout the country. Those shows average 1 to 2 hours, great stuff! Also you can buy fireworks here all year long..cheap but not so strong as the ones we have in the Netherlands/Belgium/Germany.
