i suppose its because of the trillion yellow balloons/balls he drops from the roof everytime that was played. So it was a themed thing.

you have progressive house and progressive trance and progressive jazz.. every genre has its progressive.. nothing to put as a genre on its own. but we can argue this till the sun explodes.. we wont agree.... i suppose.

I think most would group this with Markus & Coldharbour style, even when tracks are not actually Coldharbour.
