Try in "private mode"

Sometimes things are related.

If you run Windows check if an update is waiting to be installed. This often slows down internet browsing.

happens on 2 PC's, desktop and laptop,one with XP the other with 7, and only on AH site all other sites are ok.

I swear all the time when it slows down ... and then I recall to check for an pending update And often it's "bingo"

when i get in on AH.FM, sometimes i have time out, when i refresh the page takes to long and inside the thread takes long time too sometimeshmmm
