By the way I can't consider myself as a Trance DJ. I used to play trance back in early 2000's as Dankson. Then in 2006 I stopped and I reactivated myself in 2016 as a psytrance DJ/producer as Attika. I still go to good Trance parties if I have a chance (sadly in Hungary there is not too many) but in the UK we went a lot, and also to Netherlands. The reason I'm not playing trance is that the past years the genre changed not in my favor. The set played here was a collection of my favorites from the past. A very emotional set from me for sure. I heard the competition and I wanted to share this emotions with Trance fans. I was more than happy when I had the email I'm in the winners.
Trance will be the part of my heart forever and by the my dream to play a set like that in Ozora what will never happen, but I keep it alive. I regularly play Trance tracks in my sets (mostly Patterson) but this summer I closed a nightpsy party with Protoculture track (No 6 in the set) :D
