So lately i've been trying to find a specific sound, where after a build up or quiet part of the song it all of a sudden goes into a strong solid bassline with a more like stacotto melody if any, if that makes sense. Its the kind of songs where you just have to start jumpin to. Here's a list of songs that have what i'm talkin about:

Sequentia pres. Sunshade - Vertigo (Mike Koglin Remix)
audio junkies - something 4 your mind
Emjae- necromancer (probspot dub)
steve angello and sebastian ingrosso - umbrella (marcus shossow remix)
john acquaviva and olivier giacomotto-sofa king (mark mendes starter remix)
phynn- starfire at night (andy duguid remix)
chris lake - to the point (bsod remix)

and the most prime examples:

Russell G - Dark Room (andy duguid remix)
Energy 52 - Cafe Del Mar 08 (Out Of Office Mix)

Let me know if you know if you've got any ideas, much appreciated!!

this song sounds like progressive house to me, but the silent part would sound more like melodic. Maybe a combination of all those components?

Progressive melodic house perhaps?
