First off, I consider you Jaycan as a friend both online and real life. I will disagree with you on the matter that your most likely blaming AH community for your account being blocked on FB, my account has been blocked a few times on FB...

1. too many people adding me as friends
2. too many friends i added in one day
3. too many invitations i have sent to others
4. too many messages i sent in a day

These just a few reasons why they block, FB has a huge list of restrictions based on blocking a account, aswell as people would complain on getting many invitations by a specific user they block it, what im getting at here is, for FB to block a account it has to be a valid reason... I remember your account was blocked the first time because you added too many users to your friends list, maybe this is the same cause again.. I dont know, but it does not give you the reason to blame AH as a radio or community to say "hey some people of AH community hate me or are jealous of me they complain about me etc" simply not fair statement in my opinion.

On a side note about jealousy, jelaousy is everywhere, every type of work, hobby, etc has jealousy involved. Jealousy is always a bad thing because it is a negative emotion. We are jealous when we are envious of people's success and wellbeing, even though they may be our friends.

AH.FM was being attacked during 3YAMC, i had to block IPS, it got so bad I had to call my hoster to block them cause they were changing IPs, people are jealous of other success, attacks were not only 3yamc but every month we get attacked my hoster tells me. Its something you need to take into consideration when you grow bigger, when your small people do not recognize you, when you get big you get more haters but its your job to ignore it and do better.

i do support the policy that ppl can do whatever they want whitout getting blocked out...
i see this kind of signs happening here on AH.f by members but also by staff too.... feels "the freedom" we had here once has long way gone.

If u have something else in our life than AH.fm then u are betrayer.... its friendly as far as you talk nice things of ah but say something else and that immediately hostile... IMO this very wrong direction this is going... but what do i know

I also support the policy of freedom speech and we have never blocked anyone due to them saying what they feel without being vulgar or irrational. Afterhours tries to keep the peace within this community at a "healthy level atmosphere". We work hard to stop bashings, we do not want this community to become another "hating, bashing, unpleasant" place to come to. The freedom is there to communicate friendly and nice between one another, not by putting them down or someone else or the radio itself, this is a difficult task, however I think Ah staff has been doing a great job & I thank them for that, I also thank all the community for being supporting to one another!!

Most of me knowes me as: EL-Jay. JayCan did put his finger on a serious case of treating ppl against DJ's or just ppl who are full with positive passion.
Have my shows (Possession, Tranced Emotion and Meets Balearic Sphere) on other streams, why.. Dan did ignore me, even Ari's DI.. knocked many times on DI Vocal Trance door... no show and they are screaming for more show's there.

Problem of me? Not at all. If they don't want me, because I have a straight meaning against some issue's, it's their problem. I have my accounts at Facebook, MySpace, Hyves but not so active in it, same as my postings here. I'm an URTranceZone Resident DJ, so most postings there and my own site&forum (UrDance4U.com | Total Dance Community).

I'm DJ-ing for long time 41 years and in the dancescene since 1992. Did met a lot of nice ppl but also a lot of selffish ppl. I make my own plan's, learn to keep social and invest to really nice trustfull people, they are a few, but I take care of them.
I learned that spamming.. is not the right way to be well knowed. Mister President spammer: Mark Sherry.. did succeed, haha.
I learned that to be knowed.. better in a small group of friends, the multichats on MSN or Skype, Live Topic's on the Forums. The downloads of the sets in my own network, a nice way to spam your sets.
I get a lot of mail, invites to renamed Facebook groups, selected only them, I maybe will use them in future guestmixes in my Tranced Emotion Show (changed from Stream, from Nedradio to Pure) other I ignore.
JayCan.. my advise: follow your own feeling what is nice. Azijnpissers (=dutch for negative ppl) are everywere. There are alway's ppl who don't like the light in others Eyes.
My best friend here on AH is Rich Lake. We start producing and label. Just for us, just to keep the pleasure of DJ-ing and Producing for our selfs.
Follow your own feeling, what is good or what's wrong, best spamming = the downloads of your sets with full TL, and promixes (low bitrade) of your production releases.
MySpace, Facebook, Hyves.. don't spend not much time on it. Go by the old way: own website with Forum.

Micha, I think from the level of response you have received, it is safe to say that you have a good backing of true friends, albeit online buddies, but friends none the less!

yes there are the few, as people have said, that are jealous.... but these as you say do little or nothing to give back to the community.

We have the same issues here, they were really bad in the past, but we managed to stop most of it, plus the community is great for using the REPORT button of spam such as this.

Once again i see no reason of why jaycan would make a post such as this on AH forum... if he has doubts and knows the individuals that reported him "i still do not think this is the case" then he should resolve this individually over email or msn etc but not on public forum such as AH.

But then again breaking the rules of FB is quite easy, and easier when you were already blocked once they keep an eye on you closer.

I think it is unfair to point the finger at the AH community because your Facebook account was disabled. Obviously facebook is not AH and we have no juristiction there. You mentioned something '4 days ago' which implies you know of actions by an individual (I would guess). If so, like Dan mentioned, if there is a certain person you are refering to then it can be resolved personally & I don't really see the need to open up if this is the case.

Agree with Toma, the fact a lot of people have posted already shows they support you.

Your show does well and generates a lot of forum activity, there are always going to be jealous people out there, I know this from personal experience, but don't let it consume your personality, rise above them and let the music do the talking :grinning:

I think it's a fact of life that if you put yourself up on a pedestal, you're going to get shit on at some point.

Negative people are a fact of life, but it's a fact I made my peace with a while ago now - I prefer instead to be grateful for the people I have who make my life worth living. Life is too short to stress over all the things that are wrong with it I think.

I'm sorry to hear that there has been a problem but I believe the best course of action would be to carry on unaffected and rise above it - if you walk away then they have won.

I still maintain that AH is probably the nicest of all the forums I go on on the whole internet. I love the site, the music, but most of all the people here :smile:

I've not escaped criticism here and I've no doubt I'll be criticised again in future, but I'm more concerned with pleasing the people who like my music than worrying about those who don't.

Micha - you have wonderful talent and a great love for music. That is what is important.

Ever since this issue was posted im getting many PM from other djs complaining about the amount of spam jaycan sends on FB to them :\ Many djs have removed jaycan from friends list due to the spam.

Most people here think the same, thank you for this comment, but there are few which i know of do not think so.. because we do not allow:

1. bashing of other shows
2. allowing them to bash on tracks (bucket this, cheese that, this sux, that sux )
3. bashing djs and their shows
4. being vulgar on the forum

AH.FM really tries to have a friendly environment here and we will continue on with this friendly atmosphere mission here.

I was totaly annoyed by too many invitations and messages from JayCan on FB. It was only question of time, who will complain on him and admins of FB block his account. I never lied and im saying you straightaway. I considered if ill recieve more his invitations or messages ill remove him from my friend list. Here i have to say, I dont have any bad minds on him, but he was the biggest spammer on FB i had. Im sorry i have to say Micha, but its true and maybe you should also consider how your "adverts" can anoy other ppl. I never wished you bad stuff, but have look on this. Everything has consequences and its up to you if you want to learn from them or not.

Anyway its sad to hear from you, you blame on ah.fm djs or ah.fm users.
