I'm admittedly a little worried about the mixing this month as I've not had chance to listen back to it yet (plus I was slightly rusty with the vinyl...) but I'm hopeful it's all ok

I think the biggest change has been a technical one - producers now are much more concerned with the aspects of sound design than they used to be, I think, but ultimately it's the composition of a track that makes it appeal to me, as a DJ and a listener

Oh yeah definitely, countless more producers making trance now compared to then, and more and more of them making quality stuff all the time.

Just means we keep getting more and more great music which will never be a bad thing
