Little Darling
Following extensive support in Joris Voorn's DJ sets, it was only a matter of time before Anjunadeep champion Marsh appeared on Joris's Spectrum imprint. Please welcome 'Little Darling', an immaculate slice of glistening progressive house that twinkles and shines with every bit of emotional weight we need after a year+ of lockdowns. Taking a rainbow of arpeggiated chords in the same way many timeless trance records did back in the day, there's a natural, and very gentle, ebb and flow that's driven by the stately kicks, bass line and cheeky flips into breakbeats and tribal percussion. Think classic Hooj Tunes and Platipus releases but galvanised by that fresh 20s energy and feeling that a new dawn is coming closer; Marsh is soundtracking how we're all feeling right now.

Rise
Presenting their third release of the year, EDGE welcomes Mike Rish to the label for his debut EP. Through an unwavering dedication to progression, Mike Rish has been sharpening his patented club-effective sound with each subsequent evolution. Based in Melbourne, the Australians enthusiastic attitude towards experimentation, coupled with extraordinary creative vision has made him one of the more unique progressive house artists to emerge in the last decade. Choosy in his projects, Mikes resume has remained meticulous and well thought out since making his debut in 2019. Anjunadeep, Juicebox Music, Lost & Found and Sudbeat have all been landing spots across what has been a five-year creative swell, while genre tastemakers Guy J, Hernan Cattaneo, Jamie Stevens, Kasper Koman, Nick Warren and more have been steadfast with support along the way. With 2024 already yielding a standout project for GMJ and Matters Meanwhile, Mike now adds EDGE to his resume with a three-track showcase entitled Rise. Beginning with the groovy monochromes of the title selection, Mikes craftsmanship reveals itself across the detailed piece, one where funked-up beats and rubbery basslines get peppered with skittering rhythms, prophetic synth mutations and orbiting effects. Riding a wave of melodic colour into the break, the Aussie looks to bring greater emotional depth through poignant bass swells, fuzzed out synth phrasing and a hopeful lead theme; a clever coax of sound which ultimately carries the piece to a grooved-out finale.
