Paul Mayer (MYR) was born in sunny California, but now lives in Houston, Texas. He discovered music at a young age, playing piano, violin, saxophone, oboe, pipe organ, and many other musical instruments before becoming a producer and engineer. MYR's music is a combination of powerful, driving beats mixed with euphoric and sometimes melancholic melodies. His style gravitates towards Trance due to how melodic the genre is, but he also incorporates elements of dubstep, hip hop, and orchestral/classical music in his tracks. MYR also has vast experience as an open-format DJ, which translates to knowing how to read a crowd and know exactly what tracks will get people moving. He has remixed artists including 4Strings, Ian Van Dahl, and Dash Berlin, crafting memorable, high-energy performances that dominate the dance floor.
