I just had an interesting solution which should be theoretically possible - quite a hassle and probably requires some software to be written, but could work. It's quite simple, take the audio signal apart, transmit the parts to a central server through individual connections and put them back together there. Simplest implementation, upload the left channel through one 2G connection, the right channel through another one. The computer which receives both channels puts them back together and streams them. Of course you'll need to synchronise the channels first.
Any other ideas? Join me, fellow programmers!
