I was using a Nikon D70. Terrible camera...

I seem to recall some problems with the first ones when they came out, which is why they launched the D70s shortly after. Nikon have some nice lenses in their range though

Yeah the lenses are nice and pricey too. I had the D70 with the old firmware on it. Tried updating the firmware and still had the same problem. In the end i had to change the contour curves on it by downloading some software, which i could only do with a computer so it took ages trying to get it right.

Nightmare, not sure what the D70s was like a mate of mine swares by them though.

It was just the engine made all the pictures have a grey mask... :s
