Just had a thought after my sister noted that the lyrics of Miracle reminds of the contemporary situation (global warming, use of CO2). Once I thought about it, it became more clear. See it for yourself or argument against it (and explain the real meaning :p ) Hope you dont find it too boring and somewhat interesting :p

Notes in brackets and in cyan.
Taken from OceanLab - Miracle (Above & Beyond Club Mix) Trance Lyrics:

Don’t they know that there’s something going on? [The leaders]
What they’re harming with their indecision [Can't pull a stop to using up fossil fuels]
But who will be left standing when I’m gone?
There’ll be nothing left but a vision

It’s too easy to turn a blind eye to the light [Too easy to ignore the facts]
It’s too easy to bow your head and pray [Too easy to hope that it all works out]
There are some times when you should try to find your voice [You have to take actions in your own hands]
This is one voice that you must find today [Must act now, not later]
Are you hoping for a miracle, as the ice caps melt away? [wtf icecaps?! can it be more suggestive? :p]
No use hoping for a miracle
There’s a price we’ll have to pay [Yep, we're screwed if we dont do anything]
It’s too easy to turn a blind eye to the light
It’s too easy to bow your head and pray
There are some times when you should try to find your voice
This is one voice that you must find today

Are you hoping for a miracle, as the ice caps melt away?
No use hoping for a miracle

Are you hoping for a miracle, as the ice caps melt away?

There’s a price we’ll have to pay

Haha. Yeah that sounds about right. It's hard to say whether Jono, Paavo and Tony had that in mind, though. But reviewing the lyrics, it would be hard to argue otherwise. They've always been the very best vocal trancers and it appears they've taken that to an entirely new level with 'Miracle.' Typically, though, they design euphoric trance, wich in many ways is suppose to separate both body and mind, especialy under the influence of a placebo. Would the average punter really absorb the trio's message come 3am? But the thought that we all go around dancing to a political message is good, however random it may seem. Good on em' for getting it out there, if that was in fact their intention. :super:

here are the lyrics from the album version:

Don’t they know that there’s something going on
What they’re harming with their indecision
Who will be left standing when I’m gone
There’ll be nothing left but a vision

And it’s too easy to turn a blind eye the light
It’s too easy to bow your head and pray
But there are some times when you should try to find your voice
And this is one voice that you must find today

Are you hoping for a miracle
Am I still there in your plans
No use hoping for a miracle
I am balanced in your hands

Don’t they know that there’s something they can do
To be sure of tomorrows tomorrow
Too late is too late for me and you
No more time left for you to borrow

And it’s too easy to turn a blind eye the light
It’s too easy to bow your head and pray
But there are some times when you should try to find your voice
And this is one voice that you must find today

Are you hoping for a miracle
Am I still there in your plans
No use hoping for a miracle
I am balanced in your hands

take a notice of what i've made red
as you read it, think of what ryuji said about global warming and the nature :book:

I think considering their video that was posted onto Facebook which was all about Earth & Nature, I think that's highly likely.

I must admit, I love A&B, but out of all their tracks, I don't like the lyrics in this one at all, they just aren't melodic enough for me and not really about something that touches me. I mean it's pretty, but not something I'd listen to out of choice.

The video is truly beautiful

Great Track, great vid, and yes I do think that it has the meaning of global warming etc behind it.
