Only two sentences (and no citations) on post-80's deep house. Guess there's a lot of room for things to have changed since then.

Also, deep trance = the stuff John 00 Fleming says he plays on Global Trance Grooves when he isn't playing hypnotic (~psy) trance. I think. I don't listen to that show much.

Thanks. I don't either but will check. Don't remember him differentiating. I read interview with him in which he disliked name "psy" but didn't say why or suggest alternative. You may have seen his interesting fb post defining trance.

Oops, I just checked and he just calls the first part the "Deep Mix" but uses other adjectives to describe the genres involved.
