There have been select few male vocal tracks that have worked in a Trance-sounding track this year. i.e. Ben Lost, alone or in Federation, Eric Lumiere & Arctic Moon's Remix of The Killers. He just needs to get past his notion of Male Vocal Automatically = Pop.

And remember, Rich did do this last year with his We Can't Fly Pure Mix. Majority of Trance Fans loved it. Still do.

I think the vocals are poor overall, even though I don't mind male vocal. Version with Rich's vocals was much better.

Still, I consider Lovers (Pure Mix) as a very good track. :)

I never heard the version with Rich on vocals so I can't compare. But I'm basing it off how much it worked with the We Can't Fly Pure Mix, and it was so good, so I can't blame Rich & Lemon for getting back together for a follow-up. The vocals of Lovers, they've pretty much grown on me, now I find it to be the exact same thought, it's a good track.
