i’m only talking about the comment from yesterday

moderating forums is highly based on each individuals perception of right or wrong, the side of the bed they got off that morning, or how the wind blows that day

its your forum and you do whatever you see fit, and while I strongly disagree with racial, rude or otherwise disrespectful remarks towards members of a community IMO to call yesterday’s comment racial is the same as agreeing to those that say its not politically correct to say “Merry Christmas”

very nice of you to say “sorry” instead of deleting your posts a day after the fact

the bystanders that have a big issue with you whenever you decide to lighten up is that you can’t seem to have any concept of when, what and to whom is appropriate to make such lightened up comments


if you made that same comment to one of the regulars, that knows you and your “sense of humor”, it would have been funny
making the same comment to someone that asked a serious question its totally out of place and rude, not to mention useless, since quite a few proper answers were given

the “recipient of the rudeness”, judging by the number of posts they have, most likely doesn’t know who Laan is, let alone be familiar with the “joke” you made

so my point is, online people can’t see body language, can’t hear the tone of your voice, so you should think before you post and use some common sense, and judgment

but than again, there’s always the EDIT available for a whole day, in case you change your mind

went to bed for an hours sleep and ended up sleeping nearly six hours so missed all the shows tonight:lol: have to make do with replays now:P:)

so heres a question that was posed to me today im wondering what everyone thinks of it...

what would you say is a "normal" age difference for people having a relationship? :hmmm: obviously it depends on your age ofc. or is love ageless? :lol: just wondering what everyone feels on the that issue.

could you date someone much older? or someone much younger?

i dont think that love should have a limit....love is a wonderful feeling to share with you s/o:) ....

so therefore i dont think a relationship should be based on age....:)

the sky is the limit for me....:)

I have been in the position of dating or at least having a meaningful relationship with women both a lot younger than me and older than me and I think its all down to what you make of it. If you don't blend in with the person who was born of a different age then you are going to have a difficult situation. Like my best friend right now, she is 23 and i'm 55. If I carry on like a middle aged man and don't identify with her then its never going to work. You have to identify with the person of the different age or its just going to fail:)

good thoughts both of you.. i have done the dating older women thing and that was cool, now someone younger is interested in me and i wasnt 100% sure how i felt about it, but i guess if things are meant to work they will work

older women are more open mined imo.....we might teach you a few things:)
