Tracks in DJ sets

Did you know that. DJs will cute-down tracks in the sets. I have always thought DJ sets including full tracks.

:hmmm: what made you think this assumption ? You can easily check the TPT (Total Playing Time) at every web shop or Discogs :) Since the last few years, imho, the hour does contain more tracks with most DJ's ... :ee: in effect presenting rather a :bumpit: quick ! showcase of the latest and newest :P :lolz: In contrast of the ( by now : rare) full lenght tracks set, there's the MegaMix: every few seconds a new ' track ' :crazy: more is better,

I have looked at the timing in the sets, and than compared this track that is in the set to a single track like the ones sold on Beatport, and the tracks are having longer time frame.
