i read a statement from him on facebook about that, he said will continue to produce trance but only accepts playing live sets in Europe because of pool.

One of our newest addition, Rick Guyez, is our number 7th DJ warrior.


Having stumbled upon Paul Van Dyk's album '45 RPM' back in 1999, Rick was almost instantly drawn to the sound of Trance at the age of 14.


Born in Colombo, Sri Lanka, Rick began learning the ropes of Dj'ing at the age of 15 and got his first gig when he hosted a 2 hour Trance mix on an underground radio station in Colombo. He also had a passion for radio which led him to land a stint as a Radio DJ at a leading FM radio station in Colombo.


Rick continued to explore the sounds of Trance & Progressive and focused more on the sound of 'pure' melodic, uplifting Trance as well as the more energetic Tech Trance.


In 2009, he launched his own monthly podcast 'The Transmission with Rick Guyez' which consisted of a 2 hour mix featuring the best and latest in uplifting & tech Trance. The podcast reached its 50th episode in May 2014, and continues to run on a monthly basis.


Rick played his debut live set in Singapore when he opened for James Dymond at Azzura beach club in November 2014 & has been playing at various local Trance gigs since then.


Rick believes that Trance in its 'purest' form has the ability to create a more personal & emotional connection with music. One which makes Trance more than just another form of electronic music to dance to. Fuelled by this belief, he hopes to invoke that emotional connection through the music in his sets, and take his audience on a euphoric journey through the world of Trance & progressive.
