Hehe I buy all my tunes at 192, credit crunch and all that :grinning2:

Much as I admire the ingenuity of the computer-based mixing (of which I consider XiJaro to be the master) it doesn't appeal to me in the slightest - I spend all day at work clicking a mouse and I think I'm allergic to laptops! :lol:

How do you do that when you have liveset? Just mixing the MP3's and vinyl in to each other?

The setup I have is two Technics 1210's (Mk2) and two Pioneers CDJ800's (Mk2), along with a Pioneer DJM600 - the mixer has 4 channels so in theory I could play them all at once, but unfortunately I only have two hands :ee::ee:

so i guess you are excited to see a little bit of sun right?i guess a bit of changing here beside sun is good but i prefered to see snow instead of raining to be honest

CD's aren't all bad though, I love how it opens up the market more and helps up and coming artists gain recognition, plus it's great how quickly you can get music out there now. Once I was doing my "other" show (which I mix live) and someone sent me a promo whilst I was on air - I burned it to CD and played it later on in the same show! That's convenience you just can't get with vinyl, but then again, nothing compares to mixing with vinyl really.

I always said that mixing on 1210's you feel like you're operating machinery, whereas mixing on CDJ's who feel like you're fiddling with the stereo, but at the end of the day it's the music that matters! :music:

there isn't any unless you want to install the electric heating in your home...most homes heat with gas (natural or propane) or heating oil or with hot water (older homes have these hot water pipes that create tons of heat but are hard to limit. Wood is rarely used unless you have a fireplace for leisure. Electric isn't common here but might be in other places.
