not totally sure about the Finnish sounds in particular, but i've heard people commenting that german trance has its own specific sound :music:

German trance I see as a little heavier style.....
Italian trance as a bit more emotive and melodic...

That´s just me and my head thinking....

whish Matt would have sticked with this sounding tunes :P

I think S8&T and Orkidea has the specific similar sound
Yes indeed, Orkidea is awesome by the way I saw him DJ live the other month :smile1:

I´ll see if I can find to buy here in Brazil...
Well worth it mate! It's a bit of a rarity though now I think so it might be expensive....

Yes, that's mainly true I think but you have to be careful as there are always exceptions to every rule :smile1: Ace da Brain is German and I personally think he's the Godfather of 21st century emotive trance! :music:

This remix is by a German though so you can draw your own conclusions I think

yes, the sounds seem to be influenced by culture :music:

yes he has played one of the best live sets ive ever seen :super: here in my town 2 years back :grinning: although Mark Pledger played a great set in Turnmills once

oki some more Finnish tunes :mml: :super:

one Italian producer/Dj i like is Gioseppe Otaviani, he produces such a good tracks and remixes aswell:)

havent heard of him very much lately though.... :hmmm:

I think the thing I like best today though is that the genre is truly international, rather than just being a niche market in a few places. I love the fact that someone one day might email me from Venezuela, or the Italy, or the top of Mount Everest, send me a tune they made in their spare time, and I could play it to the world half an hour later - it opens up so many more possibilities :music: I love how EDM generally is run only by merit and substance rather than image, so it doesn't matter if you're cool or not, famous or not, friends with a record label owner or not any more, just so long as you can make a tune good enough :smile1:

Anyway, enough of my rambling, here's something I hope you'll hear a lot of this year :super:

Exactly....if you listen to Brazilian trance producers, many of them like strong beats, rythmical danceable style, just like our popular music (Samba,Pagode,Axé,etc)...:grinning:
