Sorry Ma'am English is not the only ' universal ' language. Those times are history Apart from Esperanto, there's Spanish too, for instance. And the present generations are accustomed learning Chinese. The next true universal language ! ​

Actually we do learn English too and we start to learn it even earlier than Swedish
