I've never been one to hide away from my occasionally slightly dodgy mixes to be honest mate, I think I'm seen more or less every DJ I've ever seen in a club do the same or worse once in a while! The way I always see it though, when I was still learning how to do all this, the one thing that kept me going was the possibility of finally doing that "perfect set" where every mix was spot on and every drop was just right and all the levels were good etc. That was 9 years ago and I don't think I've yet done one that fits the bill

I always remember a line from Frasier though that struck a chord with me, where he says "The only thing better than a perfect meal was a meal with one tiny flaw that you can pick at all night" and I think he has a point you know
