hey cloud :wave:

hello marco :wave:

yeah, everything is OK. been working for the last week (and still doing), so i have to take the night early
the racing is doing okey, i was on my first MTB race this weekend and ended up with at 4. place (even though i haven't trained offroad so far)

Nice to hear! It's going great there thus :grinning: ! Keep on and you'll end up being # 1.

:wave:

I've never been one to hide away from my occasionally slightly dodgy mixes to be honest mate, I think I'm seen more or less every DJ I've ever seen in a club do the same or worse once in a while! The way I always see it though, when I was still learning how to do all this, the one thing that kept me going was the possibility of finally doing that "perfect set" where every mix was spot on and every drop was just right and all the levels were good etc. That was 9 years ago and I don't think I've yet done one that fits the bill :lol:

If it helps I do often agonise over the small mistakes like that :lol: I always remember a line from Frasier though that struck a chord with me, where he says "The only thing better than a perfect meal was a meal with one tiny flaw that you can pick at all night" and I think he has a point you know :)

I think it's fantastic so far! :super::hug:

I'm a.t.m. trying to learn a little half-not-fake-DJing... thus making sets with Virtual DJ... It's a lot harder than with other software where you can edit everything before 'compiling' a set, but it's nice to do it 'live' (i.e. recording a live performance). Maybe you could help me out, by giving 3 answers :grinning:

Question: Which program do you use Laz, or... even better (harder too)... Is it done with turntables?

And 2nd question: how long should a typical transition be? around 40-50 secs. or much more?

3rd last Q: With for ex. VDJ you can before the crossfading try to let beats run synchronized and then crossfade. Not much can go wrong then... But... is that also what you are doing?
