if I was on *BSD box, not only would I have sound, but I'd have be rockin' to my via envy24 card and studio monitors.... This is Solaris, really limited driver support for such things as modern (or even not so modern) desktop hardware.:wow:

P.S.; I told you you'd like KDE :grinning:
Hmmm .... weren't you trying to convince me to go for Solaris some time ago :wow:
Thank goodness I'm stubborn as hell :mask:

(Yep, still running Debian :grinning:)

Hmmm, maybe I'll turn my machine into triple boot then. Debian and Java don't work together as nicely as I want

My experience as well. Even more so w.r.t. the *BSD's. IMHO,when it comes to Java, nothing is going to outshine Open/Solaris. Next best is probably Windoze, but that's a whole 'nother can of worms that represents "last ditch" option for me.

what´s up:grinning:

Hello

I'm doing well. Tomorrow I'm going to dance valley :) Unfortunately I can't see tiesto b2b with ferry because I have to get my last bus/train :P It annoys me as hell.

I'm trying to get someone by car to get me home that night.. I hope it works out well. It's kinda short day now :hmmm:

Mmm... Yummy!! Alaskan King Crab! :grinning:

That'd be a relatively small specimen though compared to what we used to rake in...lol...

Grab one of these puppies for your two channel audio set up - complete w/onboard headphone amp. Way bitchin' sound card for under $100.

:cap: ok - thanks gotwf ! Will do :grinning: For so long, I have RME
RME: Home hardware - drivers & co-existence with software plus latency-free performance are things I want to keep in mind as well

At the office, we turned to KUbuntu btw - a very multi-media friendly distribution :music:

Well, I'm off. Take care everyone and enjoy the tunes :mml: :grinning:
