Bah, I'm trying to work with some stupid equation Euclid came up with regarding GCD, but all my numbers end up with the answer being 1 or 2.

Are you trying to find gcd = 30 for two 4 digits or larger numbers?
Could you try finding one by using a base of 30 then mutiplying by primes?

I forgot most of my principles of algebra so I'm not too sure but I'll try to lend some insight.

Just wait, once I've figured Euclid's GCD scheme out, I think get to figure out why the remainder will be 0 after 2x log2n divisions. I hate logarithms.

Meh, it's no fun if I manufacture a number to give me a big GCD. I just want a random number that gives me something freaky like 69 or 1337. If I have to spend my time doing this, the least I can do is get fun answers.
