6. Sultan: GStringz
Sultan then again is one of my fave progressive producers of 21st century. He has been around for ages but only during the last 2-3 years has really breaked through. With GStringz he shows his housier side and this is once again a record that fits many kind of situations. I only wonder how Sultan manages to DJ with those dreadlocks? ;)

I think that Moguai's We Ar Lyve is one of the best EDM-albums of the year. Many good tracks in that album. So I share that opinion about one of the favorite electro house-producers.
 
7. Umek: OMGWTF
One more addition to my last few years' fave producers is Umek. He somehow manages to being fully credibly "techno", yet at the same time make very accessible stuff with an always irresistible groove in it. Some of it is quite dark, sometimes trancey, but here he shows that he knows the italo disco roots too. We need more cowbell!

Btw you guys probably don't know this as it was way before your days but that Umek OMGWTF track is actually based on 'Native love', an old 1982 Bobby Orlando production for a rather controversial transvestite artist named 'Divine'. Bobby Orlando was one of the high energy pioneers from the early eighties and was also the guy who wrote and produced the original version of West End Girls, the track that kick started the Pet Shop Boys.
