One thing that I just can't understand is why play these re-warmings of old classics that are only ok or just bring the sounds to today when you could play the great old originals?

6. Way Out West: Ultraviolet
Oh well... this was included to the mix to pay homage to Way Out West's live gig in Helsinki which obviously never happened. Such a shame as I was very much looking forward to it. 'Ultraviolet' is the hidden gem of the latest WOW album. Classic Jody Wisternoff sound which suits many different sets and situations but didn't get the attention it IMHO deserved when the album came out.
PS. Running late with the updates!

5. BT: Flaming June 2010 (Jaytech & James Grant Mix)
This is probably the most impossible track to remix and make it better. Jaytech and James have done a nice job creating a warm up / prog trance groover version which teases with the original melody and parts, has a heavy bassline and sublime two minute breakdown. Nothing beats the original (or even comes close) but this does justice to it in a nice way.

Norwegian Infish duo updates Stockholms fave prog trance producer David West's already massive 'Gura' into even bigger room prog anthem. It's been a pleasure to see how David West has moved from trance into credible techno during the past 2-3 years while still keeping that own and recognizable production sound. Mark of a great talent for sure. And after working with him in a studio for a day (that's how long we spent on God's Garden in my studio!) I can say he is truly a genius who still has plenty of unleashed potential...
