The two Irish friends Andrew Liggett & Jamie Gilsenan are no strangers to Bryan Kearney's 'Kearnage Recordings', as they both had solo releases on this strong label in the past. Luckily for us they've decided that it was time for a collaboration, and it's safe to say this is one of the most anticipated releases at the moment. With early support from A-List DJ's as Armin van Buuren , JOC and Aly & Fila this one has caused many trance heads buzzing and there is a proper explanation for that as it's simply stunning!

The Review:

Sneijder & Mark Leanings - Now Or Never (Original Mix / Dub Mix)

Described as "The definition of trance" in the promo mailout, I have to agree with the author that this track is one of the purest trance productions I've heard this year. I lost count on how many times I've had this on repeat in the last couple of hours! From start to finish you are hearing the crème de la crème the current trance scene has to offer you. And it has been a while since I've heard such a brilliant arpeggiator during the build up!. Simple but very , very tasty! Of course this has been backed up with a subtle acid line in the background to finish it off in style. As the breakdown begins, you will hear a lovely female vocal repeat the obvious words "Now Or Never" , and if you listen carefully you can sense the heavy filtered piano as well. This definitely reminded me on how Simon Patterson used to create his breakdowns! Very smooth and somehow the word 'cute' comes in mind. For the people who dislike this vocal the boys included a Dub Mix. In my opinion this wouldn't be the same without the vocal.. It just needs to be there! As you are still in a state of trance an immense riff comes along and helps you realize it's time to put your trance pants on again! Such an addictive melody as it just grabs you and won't let you go even after multiple listens. These guys did a tremendous job back there in the studio! Hats off! Trance as it should be done!

Final Words:

Both producers have showed us they could produce quality on their own, so it was no surprise this collaboration would turn out to be even better than everyone's expectations. For me one of the highlights of this year already. I really hope they will make a sequel very soon. Brilliant production! Kearnage Recordings is one quality release richer once again!

love that Adam ellis remix of vallhalla, truly a different feeling from it than the original, but I love it
