as i said b4 pepl dont go beyond trance and bash anything tht isnt trance and dont give other genres a chance
if the demand isnt there then thts a good reason i'll admit but thts sad in my eyes

Believe me if i could I would open up 5 more channels but its just financially imposisble...

but...another channel is not something that grows on trees and develops over night, it takes money and effort....and look at the"other side"...how many listeners in Trance and Progressive and how many in the Tech and Minimal and whatever other Assembly Line sounds are around...the truth remains that those that like this style are very few compared to Trance and Progressive :smile1:

i don't know if you understand the model of AH radio, were non profit, FREE 192k etc... I don't believe in charging people for a premium service, If i did do that it would defeat my whole purpose of creating Afterhours. So back to your reply there is no 'profit' but only heavy bills which I pay and people that donate to help me.

Yeah, but I dunno how many people would stop up till 12 - 1 am to catch a show, but what can you do when people fromall over the world listen?

i, for one am a very open minded person, and i started off by being one of those that only liked Trance...but with time i gave everything else a chance, and yes, now i like Psy, Hard Trance and Progressive, but i could never "swallow" the Tech and Minimal, its a matter of taste, i know...but its not that Trance and Prog is becoming more commercial, its simply because it is more melodious than the ping..pong..digi..dong sounds....i personally can't get my head around that style, its just noise to me, one neverending track

NO...don't put words in my mouth...what i'm saying is that you can't mix apples and oranges...this station is clearly labeled Trance and Progressive and that is that....nobody says that you can't listen to other styles....its like going to the Grocery Store and expecting to be able to buy a car from there too....and there are no profits to be made by adding another station...its all FREE, and choices have to be made to keep it that way.

i felt the same about Hard Trance and Psy, i used to dismiss it barely at seeing it labeled that way, but at the end of the day, music is meant to make you happy and it is a matter of personal taste
