:iagree: but then people started creating new music. back then was just progressive, psy and hard trance. then trance became more powerfull and thats why it was called uplifting. because it was monstrous energy.:) thats my opinion:) but ive always called it trance. hope it goes being that way. was more best.:iagree:

ehhhh what? back in the days was called electronic music, and they started to call it trance and appeared first. And then came the others:)
 
I had uplift in my trousers when I heard about this :)

when i started listen it it was treance or progressive trance. didnt hear the word uplfit. i refered EDM as all the genres, like techno, house, d&b, breakz, trance, and all the rest. :yes:
