They areno NOT FAKE ACCOUNTS !!!! They are all my friends who wants to see me ON THE EOYC but they didnt had accounts HERE !!! If u have some problem talk to the admins and let them check for IP ADRESSES and then u will see ... ffs im not that STUPID !

but it means your vote is subjective, they don't listen other contestants! :mask:
No one spams to your friends with voting request...and how many of them interesting trance music, but not only your person ..?

I can assure you that they all are interested ... cos they already have listened to me many times during the last 5-6 years and i didnt spam them , i just posted a link to my fb wall , i didnt made them vote for me or create an account here ... i cant see whats the problem here ... all of the sudden im beeing acused for faking this cos someone wants to hear me play at the EOYC ... if u think that im not worthy for this ... delete my name from the given names and why bother with this ...
 
I'm sorry but the big vote difference is always suspicious...especially in first voting days
 
Hmmm...i voted for Frosty and I'm always here, so that disqualifies him as a spamer, also i know at least 20 people who are here all the time, but do not post at all and have accounts and that did vote for him. The usual banter, spamer fake users etc...give it a rest guys. May the best mix win :D
 
Well if its suspicious and im not to be trusted ... im sure that the admins can check the users (people who voted for me) IP adress and then we will see if im a liar or not or if im insane and created all of those accounts ... and there is not rule that says i cant tell my friends or people who listen to me to vote for me ..
 
Must admit i think the method of the AHFM staff looking over the mixes to have the final say is a better way of judging it. As someone said before nobody is going to download 100 sets and it will be a case of someone getting a big group of friends to all make account or login and vote will will rank them high. Fair enough if the friends listen to your stuff, but if people are recruiting friends to do them a favour and they don't even tune in or like dance then not really fair.

telling a friend to vote for you without even listening all other sets, its also not a way to win the contest, I agree that its better a set of ah.Fm judges, decide which will be the finalist.

So if somebody doesnt have so many friends, then he is the last one even though his set is the BEST?

I can assure you that nobody will listen 100 SETS to select the best ones. thats 100 HOURS.

yeah right!!!, you are wrong, a friend of you shouldnt vote for you because he has listened to you 5 years, he should vote after listening other sets, not all 100 sets, but some, thats why I agree that AH.FM should judge the winners

70% AH.FM, 30% poll votes.
 
another option I thougt it should only COUNT votes of users with good quantity of POSTS, and that are at least 1 month OLD.

example:
50 POSTS, and the account is older than one month.

Too many votes is from friends and too little of this votes are from people who listened to sets. It should be some jury to decide wich set is good and who deserve 1hr slot.

Please lets not argue... this is a community contest -- staff will do best job possible to have it as fair as possible like we do each year... just because you see so many votes does not mean they will win.

We will take into consideration many things.
