The Mechanic

Just saw "The Mechanic" with Jason Statham and Ben Foster yesterday. Thought it was pretty good. Wasn't expecting the greatest story or character development, was expecting fighting, guns, and explosions. Definitely got that and them some. To put it this way it seemed to me like it had a slasher-film sense of gore to it, while remaining a fast-paced action flick. Worth checking out if you're free for an afternoon or evening.

saw Cloverfield when it was at the theatre, blew me away! cool and creepy...
watched it at home in Blueray, not as good as the big screen
